Determining economic values of ethanol production in Iowa
Article Abstract:
A study sifts through the analytic shortcomings of previous research and creates an ethanol impact modeling prototype for investigating the regions effects of the placement of an ethanol plant. The findings present an overview of the research problem and provide a tool to evaluate the potential economic benefits to rural areas from an expanding ethanol industry in the American Midwest.

Accelerating commercialization of renewable hydrogen technologies
Article Abstract:
Minnesota has resources and potential to stimulate job creation and economic development and therefore, lays the groundwork for a renewable hydrogen industry that is ready to sell to other markets when the demand materializes. The prime candidates for hydrogen are the ethanol, biofuels, food processing and paper industries.

Filling up at a Pennsylvania hydrogen station
Article Abstract:
Air Products and Chemicals Inc. of Allentown, Pennsylvania has developed a fueling station that produces hydrogen by steam reforming as natural gas and provides cost-effective hydrogen fueling. Minnesota is pursuing many combinations of production processes and end use applications that are worthy pilot projects.
