EDCO opens 1,000 TPD C&D facility
Article Abstract:
SANCO Recourse Recovery (SRR), a member of the EDCO family of companies, was opened in January 2007 to meet the growing demands for C&D recycling in San Diego County. SRR was started as a part of planned resource recovery facility and is permitted to handle 1000 tons per day and it uses Lubo sorting system with a combination of disc screens and magnets to separate different materials.

Mixed C&D recycling on-line in San Francisco
Article Abstract:
The up gradation of a transfer station site was completed in San Francisco in July 2003 and the new site processes some of the heaviest materials in the waste stream. The facilities that are provided at the site and the processes used that could take the city's recycling operations to 75 percent are discussed.
