Pay-as-you-throw trash pricing

Article Abstract:

The New Hampshire Solid Waste Task Force found that one of the most successful programs initiated to both reduce generation rates and increase recycling rates was the Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) program. The dynamics of managing the State of New HampshireEs solid waste stream found that an increase in marginal price for solid waste disposal above and beyond the normal price of store bought garbage bags, and a pro-active approach to community planning, reduce annual per capita waste generation.

Bosnia mission includes waste management ... and bioremediation

Article Abstract:

The Balkan Army's approach to solid waste management have transitioned into wastewater treatment plants, recycling programs, and composting operations as the preferred methods of waste management practices. The recycling and bioremediation processes explored are applicable to other military operations and the civilian community.
