Pork barrel politics miss the point

Article Abstract:

There has been a recent move by some virgin content manufacturers to protest the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) funding ofthe Recycling Advisory Council. This came as a result of state government mandates requiring recycled commodity use in the manufacture of specific consumer items. A group of congressional members asked the EPA administrator tojustify said funding during budget hearings. Luckily, the move was quashed by senate members. The protesting corporations were advised to join instead the nationwide campaign for recycled content products.
