Some further implications of incorporating the warm glow of giving into welfare measures: a comment on the use of donation mechanisms by Champ et al
Article Abstract:
Some views on donation mechanisms that were presented by P.A. Champ, R.C. Bishop, T.C. Brown and D.W. McCollum in their article entitled 'Using donation mechanisms to value non-use benefits from public goods' are criticized. Champ and his co-authors' conclusion on actual donations as a theoretical lower bound on Hicksian values is inaccurate because it was found that donations can either be over, equal or below Hicksian values. This is dependent on the strength of warm glow and method of provision.

A comparison of welfare estimates from four models for linking seasonal recreational trips to multinomial logit models of site choice
Article Abstract:
The multinomial logit model has been used to investigate choice among recreational sites. In this model, however, predicting the total number of trips in a recreation season is not possible. Hence, various models that allow linkage between a recreational site choice model and a seasonal participation model have been proposed to examine how the total number of trips is affected by a policy changes.

An experimental investigation of explanations for inconsistencies in responses to second offers in double referenda
Article Abstract:
The explanations of observed behavior in contingent valuation surveys are tested to demonstrate the potential for induced preference experiments. The results indicate that the weighted average theory of Carson, Groves and Machina's are met with, however, the cost uncertainty are ambiguous.
