The state of biosolids in America
Article Abstract:
An alphabetical state-by-state listing is presented on recycling, reuse trends and pathogens reduction for biosolids, or solid waste, in a survey with 40 out of 50 states returning data. Although findings include little overall change in composting, incineration, land application and landfilling, most biosolids are converted to beneficial use.

National biosolids partnership EMS update
Article Abstract:
The National Biosolids Partnership is in the process of testing wastewater process standards and directives at 27 treatment facilities. The directives encompass all critical control points of biosolid management, from pretreatment to public education and acceptance planning.
