Toward a complete economic theory of the utilization and management of recreational fisheries
Article Abstract:
The management and maximum utilization of recreational fisheries is theorized usinga model of individual behavior that has variables representing participation decision, activity level decision, catch rate and landing rate. Studies are conducted for homogenous and heterogenous fishermen under conditions of open access. The theory's applications include the effect of a daily catch limit.
