California continues push for dairy power
Article Abstract:
The article assesses the California Energy Commission's Dairy Power Production Program, launched in July 2001. The program provides assistance to dairy farmers interested in using anaerobic digestion to convert manure and wastes into energy. Funding services include grants for necessary equipment and incentives for electricity generated.

U.S. farms ready for major role in energy production
Article Abstract:
Biofuels and other forms of agriculturally-generated energy have become the major 21st century energy sources, giving birth to a new energy economy. Many of the farms in the U.S. are coming together to advance farm-grown fuels and other alternatives to petroleum.
