Article Abstract:
Union Bank of California provided $65 million financing in 1997 to Spanish-language broadcasters Entravision for the purchase of two Univision affiliates along the Texas-Mexico border and for restructuring its current debt. The bank later expanded Entravision's credit to $150 million to buy more stations. Entravision has grown to nine radio stations and 17 television stations with Union Bank of California's support.
