Bela looks back on HACR tenure
Article Abstract:
Richard J. Bela resigned from the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) last month to return to the private sector. HACR is a nonprofit coalition of large Hispanic community organizations, including the National Council of La Raza, and is an organization designed to educate corporations about the consumer presence of Hispanics. It had limited funds when Bela became president and CEO in 1992. The budget today is close to $1 million.
