Reaching out to the business community: Hispanics stand to gain through EEOC's emerging dialogue with small and mid-size employers
Article Abstract:
It is clear that, as the US approaches the year 2000, Hispanic American businesses and employees already contribute and will continue to be a major force in the country's economic development. By 2000, there will be more than 2 million Hispanic businesses that will generate $300 billion in annual revenue. Hispanics, as both entrepreneurs and workers, need to work with the EEOC to continue to advance the goal of discrimination-free workplaces.

Article Abstract:
The glass ceiling is still hard to crack though minorities are being recruited. Minorities are being attracted by recruiters, but they are not held successfully by corporations. It is suggested that Hispanics reject companies that do not demonstrate advancement opportunities for minorities, to force change in corporate culture.
