A recent study reports that Hispanic actors comprise only 4% of the membership of the Screen Actors Guild. Only 3.5% of the Hollywood roles went to Hispanics last year. Less than 2% of the of members of the Writers Guild of America are Hispanic. Hispanic producers and directors are also rare in the motion picture industry.
