Trends affecting Spanish language TV in the US are examined in detail. univision leads in the market, but Telemundo has increased its market share. The Hispanic young adult and teen markets present challenges, since some 50% of them are bilingual and bicultural.

Multiracial category confusion
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the layout of the Census forms are discussed. It is emphasized that the Census 2000 forms allow people to enter more than one race per person, thus formally recognizing multiracial citizens in the United States.
