The 20 highest paid Hispanic American entertainers in 1994-95 are ranked. Topping the list is television host and producer Geraldo Rivera with $32.5 million. Rounding out the top five are pop singer Julio Iglesias ($31 million), opera singer Placido Domingo ($15.5 million), actor Charlie Sheen ($15 million) and pop singer Gloria Estefan ($14.5 million).

Spanish radio stations are enjoying higher ratings and advertising revenues thanks to their tejano and banda music formats. Another reason cited for increased advertisement revenues is government deregulation that has made possible the combination of radio stations, known as combos.
