This is the way we wash our hands
Article Abstract:
Ensuring health workers follow guidelines set out on hand washing procedures will help reduce the number of infections attributed to matters of cleanliness. Medical care managers must ensure guidelines are set in place and adhered to, reducing the number of litigation cases resulting from infections passed to patients though negligent hand-washing practices. A study of hand-washing procedures at a UK hospital found many occasions when guidelines were not followed, such as answering telephones in surgical gloves before patient contact.
