Confidence: the key to passionate learning; how to build it, boost it, make it grow
Article Abstract:

Parents may bolster that confidence by being positive, praising the process, being specific, teaching problem solving and letting the child own the accomplishment. A child should be willing to explore and take risks in a safe setting in order to learn.
