Marriage and family consultation with ranch and farm families: an empirical family case study
Article Abstract:
Research is presented on therapy techniques used on a multigenerational, multicouple farm family, specifically to reduce stress intrinsic to agricultural production. These methods include problem identification, goal setting, reorganization of the family's business interrelationships and the introduction of self-care practices.

Research is presented on distinct themes that emerge after a family member has gone public with his or her same-sex preference. These themes include setting rules for discussion of homosexuality, seeking information, exposure to normative homosexual lifestyles, and creating new expectations for the future.
