Aggressive driving habits such as beating yellow and red lights endanger the lives and safety of one's children and others. For children aged six to 14, car crashes are the leading cause of injury and death. A number of ways by which aggressive driving can be avoided are presented, such as keeping distance, giving full attention to the road and avoiding aggressive drivers.

More prescriptions for antibiotics are issued for ear infections than for all other childhood illnesses combined. A 4- to 6-month-old baby may develop an ear infection following the first cold or upper-respiratory infection. It is caused by an inflammation of the eustachian tube. It is common for a child to have 2 or 3 ear infections a year.
