FCC's field offices
Article Abstract:
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is closing twelve of its monitoring field offices and six district offices. It plans to use updated equipment to monitor some stations by remote control. A toll free national call center is also planned. A referral list for interim problems is included along with addresses and phone numbers of each local FCC office.

If law professors had to turn in time sheets
Article Abstract:
A humorous diary is presented to illustrate the daily tasks and activities of law professors. The time sheet displays mundane activities commented upon cynically. Thirteen recorded work hours include an accounting for the time committed to avoiding angry students.
