Toward a biopsychosocial model of domestic violence

Article Abstract:

The biological, psychological and social aspects of male domestic violence were analyzed. Each variable was found to be significantly related to domestic male violence when examined separately. However, only the biological and social variables were found to be independent of the predicted outcome. Alcohol, family income, relationship quality and testosterone were factors found to have independent effects.

Multiple perspectives on family differentiation: Analyses by Multitrait Multimethod Matrix and Triadic Social Relations Models

Article Abstract:

The Differentiation in the Family System Scale was used to examine boundary maintenance in the family. The multi-trait multimethod matrix with correlated uniquenesses, indicated that the best model was where the six dyadic subscales formed distinct factors. The triadic social relations model further supported this agreement.
