Two different styles of winemaking, one at the Kenwood Sonoma Valley and the other at the Ferrari-Carano Sonoma County are described. Even though both produce popular Sauvignon Blanc wines from various grape sources, Kenwood uses stainless steel, while Ferrari-Carano uses oak barrels for fermentation.

Tandem: Loving a stern mistress

Greg La Follette and partner Greg Bjornstad, who have a passion for Pinot Noir started Tandem on the Sonoma Cost. They are expecting to produce a total of about 1,500 cases of Pinot from two Russian River estates plus the Sangiacomo Vineyard.
