Bubbly makers may compromise

Article Abstract:

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms dropped a requirement that sparkling wine makers using the Charmat method label their wines 'bulk process' and instead required these wines be labeled as not bottle fermented. Bulk producers such as Gallo that do not use the superior methode champenoise were pleased with the ruling.
