Clash of the titans; collectors pick Le Pin over Petrus in 13-vintage showdown

A group of German wine experts compared two of the world's top wines, Chateau Petrus and Chateau Le Pin. Le Pin won nine rounds of the contest, compared to four for Petrus. The wines were part of the collections of German wine journalist Armin Diel and Singapore surgeon N.K. Yong.

Domaine Zind-Humbrecht's new winery in Turckheim is a steel, concrete and glass facility that looks nothing like other Alsace wineries. The highly modern winery, which is known for its excellent white wines, was designed by architect Yves Pircher.

New tests on Jefferson bottle support Rodenstock

Three rare bottles of wine supposedly bottled for Thomas Jefferson have been tested for authenticity by two different scientific labs. Each has reported different results. The wine is labeled as 1787 Lafite.
