The Michelin Guide San Francisco, Bay Area & Wine Country 2007, reflective of its originating culture, is obsessed with 'the form' and fails to match a certain understanding, a recognition of another legitimacy, with its own needs and expressions.

The differences in corkage prices and the availability of this service are explored. Restaurants on the West coast of America are more open to guests bringing their own wine and advertise corkage prices compared to those of the East coast.
