Article Abstract:
Products invented by a German doctor in the 1970s may replace sulfur in wine preservation and disinfecting. Sulfites in wine are not as perceptible as in the past, but many are still sensitive to sulfites. The grapefruit pip preparations are more expensive than sulfur, however.
