Israel awakens: a wine and food revolution sweeps the Holy Land

The Middle East peace process, coupled with an economic upswing, has allowed Israelis to spend more time appreciating fine food and wine. There are now 7500 acres of wine grapes in Israel, and wineries are moving from sweet to dry wines. The Golan Heights Winery makes some of the best Israeli wines.

The New York wine experience
Article Abstract:
An unprecedented boom in the wine world has made New York the wine capital of the US. The New York Wine Experience was held on October 23-26 at the Marriott Marquis, attracting more than 4000 wine aficionados. More than 26,000 bottles of wine were donated to the event.
