Article Abstract:

Kosher means adhering to the dietary laws that go back to Moses and the principle of kosher dietary laws is the separation of meat and dairy products. Some Kosher dietary laws such as not mixing meat and milk products are generally attributed to health concerns as keeping these two food groups separate may aid in digestion, however, the reasoning behind the most of the rules is not explained in the Torah, the body of Jewish teachings.
