Miller revives 7 '70s ounces
Article Abstract:
Miller is reintroducing the pony bottle which has 7 ounces of the Miller High Life beer amidst the revival of the 70's culture in the 1990s. The packaging of the bottle was changed though the classic typefaces and images were retained. Miller group brand director Bruce Winterton indicated that the bottle is apt for consumption during the summer by consumers. Miller's Eileen Wright added that the bottle maintains refreshment and temperature of the beverage while offering an exact sampling size. Miller High Life is heavily dependent on nostalgic appeal to spur demand, particularly from men who dislike warm beer and women who like smaller servings.

Minute Maid makes no bones about fortifying its juices
Article Abstract:
Minute Maid decided to produce a new Minute Maid Premium Orange Tangerine flavor which is fortified with calcium as part of its campaign to add calcium to its orange juice category. Minute Maid senior vice president and chief marketing officer Jay Gould noted that the company also placed calcium in its 100% juice line housed in aseptic packaging since many US consumers, particularly children, fail to consume adequate amounts of calcium. The juicemaker also added 100 milligrams of calcium into every serving size of its cherry, grape, apple and orange flavors.
