Modern-day cave men: Collectors go underground to store their wines
Article Abstract:
Custom-built caverns offer the best atmosphere for storing and enjoying wine as they naturally provide the perfect and constant conditions for cellaring like cool temperatures, high humidity and an utter lack of sunlight. A description of the 1,200-square-foot cavern, owned by wine collector Larry Gurunewald in the hills above Oakville, California, is presented.
