"Per Se", Thomas Keller's restaurant in Manhattan's Time Warner Center, closely resembles his "French Laundry" restaurant in cuisine and more importantly in philosophy and is rated as one of the top New York City restaurants. The restaurant is rich in materials and detailing but priority is given to the amazing views, dining companions and the food.

Seeing Red

Michelin, introduced the Michelin Red Guide in November 2004, which is the company's first guide to restaurants and hotels in New York City. Red Guide's lack of consideration to wine is one of its deficiencies as a result the city's most distinctive and beloved establishments are left unstarred.
