Pitfalls of predicting patterns

Article Abstract:

New and small wineries can often have a very successful vintage, only to get overconfident and neglect detail the following year. Sometimes a vintner with uneven performance can become excellent by hiring an experienced winemaker. Sonoma County's Meeker Vineyard is an example of the latter.
