Power to the people
Article Abstract:
A discussion on the level of alcohol in European wines which are considered to be more delicate than Californian wines because of the use of riper grapes that have higher sugar levels, is presented. The conclusion that the specifics of alcohol content is unimportant, but the presence of ripeness allied with finesse which gives a graceful expression of the distinctness of place is what is offered by todayEs wines, is discussed.
