Twenty-eight wineries in Ontario, Canada are forecasted to produce between 20,000 and 24,000 cases of 1996 vintage ice wine. Ice wine or liquid gold is a dessert wine made by separating as much half of the grapes water by naturally freezing them on the vines before juicing.
