David Ramey has been a California winemaker for over 20 years and has worked for such companies as Rudd Estate, Simi and Matanzas Creek, and Chalk Hill. Currently he has realized his dream of putting out his own wine. The Ramey Chardonnay Napa Valley Carneros Hyde Vinyard 1996 is an exceptional wine that will be difficult to get hold of as only 255 cases were produced.

The Champagne, France, vineyard Clos du Mesnil is owned by Krug and produces Champagnes that age will. Clos du Mesnil typically produces about 1000 cases each vintage year, which helps make the Champagne desirable to collectors. From a collectors standpoint, the years between 1979 and 1989 all have strong personalities.
