Whiskey-makers are experimenting with different marketing strategies in order to attract more buyers. Vintage-dating the whiskey is one marketing strategy adopted by whiskey-makers. Another is identifying the type of barrel the whiskey was aged in. Single-barrel and cask-strength whiskies are also being introduced onto the market.
