Article Abstract:
The Loire region in France produces some excellent wines, but the 1997 vintage is inconsistent. The sweet white wines for the vintage are likely the best and reflect the tastes of the results from earlier years. Almost 300 wines from the 1997 vintage year made in the region are evaluated.
