Prices for top Bordeaux wines have dropped dramatically in 1998, and one reason is that demand from Asian buyers is down as a result of the Asian economic slump. Several specific vintages are discussed, and prices are given.

'48 Taylor Port sets standard

Alistair Robertson, owner of Taylor, poured his 1948 Port for Wine Experience tasters. Other excellent vintages were also enjoyed. The Port house has been operating for 300 years.
