Baron Philippe de Rothschild has an impressive collection of art works that are related to wine by either function or subject. The collection includes pottery, paintings and precious gems from ancient Persia, China's Ming dynasty and Renaissance Europe.

Surprises from a faraway land
Article Abstract:
Stonyridge Vineyard is producing good wines, one in particular being the 1993 Stonyridge Vineyard Larose Cabernet from Waiheke Island. Winery owner Stephen White is does not have a US importer, however. Other wines of New Zealand are also discussed.
