The unique characteristics of Northeast, the south, the west and the Midwest cooking of United States are described and the factors which influenced the cooking over the years, and the main ingredients used primarily are mentioned. The recipes of important dishes associated with each region are mentioned and main culinary items like blueberries, black-eyed peas, beef and wild salmon are described.

The European cuisines are basically meant to keep warm from the chills of North Sea winds and frigid Arctic air with alcoholic beverages commonly among cuisines prepared to go well with beer, spirits, Irish whiskey, gin and wine. The main ingredients like bacon, cheeses, cured fishes and caviar, the knives, sausages, dill, and wines used in the region are described.
