Tough test explores nuances of Pinot Noir
Article Abstract:
A blind taste test of eight Pinot Noirs was held at the California Wine Experience during November, 1998 in San Francisco, CA. The test was difficult as regional characteristics could not aid the taster. No person in the audience could identify all eight wines, but Wine Spectator editor Harvey Steiman got a perfect score in a public tasting.
