UK dairy calls in administrators
Article Abstract:
Cricket St Thomas Dairies of Somerset, south west England has had to call in the administrators, following debts of about 40 million pounds sterling and the failure to achieve effeciency gains. The company had been further hindered by the BSE scare which has depressed milk sales. There is speculation amongst Dublin analysts that Avonmore Foods could be a possible purchaser of Cricket St Thomas Dairies.
