The art of being a disc jockey is often taken very seriously, especially in the US, but until recently there has been no real formal training for the job. Now, disc jockeys and aspiring disc jockeys can attend seminars which give them valuable advice. They are often told that it is important to lead an interesting and varied life, as this makes a disc jockey a much more interesting person to listen to. They are also given tips about aspects of the job such as handling phone-ins.

Buckhead Diner

The Buckhead Diner was designed in traditional railroad car motifs by a San Francisco designer. Chef Gerry Klaskala says his foods appeal to everyone, but he keeps a traditional southern style in his menus. Grilled sandwiches and other typical diner fare are also offered.
