Home-style desserts, such as buttery, chocolate-frosted cakes and oat-topped fruit crisps, remain everybody's all-time favorites. Although pastry chefs the world over regularly come up with modern, tasty treats for dessert and new food trends are always being concocted, home-style desserts are seen to continue being an important food trend for decades to come.
