Bon Appetit's 1999 Reader's Survey revealed interesting facts on what Americans eat and drink. Some of the findings include: men and women alike declare ice cream as the comfort food of choice, cheddar cheese won over Parmesan and baked potato topped mashed potato and au gratin.
