A recipe for Martha's Vineyard's Plum Inn & Restaurant tomato-orange soup is presented, along with recipes from other restaurants. Baked goat cheese with roasted garlic and caramelized onion, chocolate-brownie creme-brulee and other recipes are presented.

The cheddar of Vermont

Vermont produces excellent sharp cheddar cheeses that have a distinctive cream color and a wonderful nutty flavor. They are usually aged longer than other sharp cheddars. Recipes presented include cheddar cornmeal muffins and parsnip and cheddar souffle.
