Women, food, and mood
Article Abstract:
There is no clear scientific data to explain the perceived connection between food intake and mood. Scientists have observed healthy women consume significantly more calories in their premenstrual phase than at other times. The food they primarily crave is chocolate. Various theories that attempt to explain the effects of chocolate on mood are not proven, although it has been shown the sensory aspects of chocolate are at least as important as the nutritional ones for providing satisfaction.

Asthma and food allergy
Article Abstract:
Asthma can be caused by an allergic reaction to some types of food. To determine if allergies are being triggered by a food source, diagnosis must follow a disciplined approach. A double blind, placebo-controlled food challenges test can help in the evaluation.
