DVD debate
Article Abstract:
Digital Video Disks (DVD) are claimed to be the replacement for the compact disk. DVDs can hold at least seven times as much information as a CD-ROM, and a maximum of 17 gigabytes (GB). The disks are the same size and operate in the same way as CDs, although the DVD is also expected to succeed the video tape. Movie distributor Polygram is offering a number of DVD films in the UK.
