Did a liberal civil rights group get caught with its binoculars up?
Article Abstract:
Police in San Francisco, CA, are pursuing an investigation begun by the FBI inquiry into the activities of Roy Bullock. Bullock was a spy for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for almost 40 years and also passed information to the South African government. Bullock says that he gathered information from public records, trash and undercover operations and did not violate anyone's civil rights. The ADL denies any complicity in breaking the law. Former San Francisco police inspector Tom Gerard is also implicated in the case and has been indicted for theft of government documents and conspiracy.

Fit for what?
Article Abstract:
Health provision is governed by increased demand on limited resources and individuals' rights. Proposals have been made to relate quality of life to health expenditure. However, nurses should beware of equating enjoyment of life with physical fitness. Improving quality of life may underlie decisions on interventions but assessing quality is subjective and definitions are impossible.
