The inclusion of intelligence is the most recent enhancement to cameras, enabling them to function better in low light and making them ideal in providing security for outdoor monitoring. For instance, Sanyo Security Video Products's Sanyo VCC-4324 Day/Night camera utilizes intelligence to sense varying lighting levels, enabling it to alternate between black and white and color, or between infrared lighting and black and white.
