Nursing at a crossroads: managing without facts
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to evaluate research on nursing staff structures, nursing support systems and patient classification systems. The study focuses on the variables which affect these areas of nursing in terms of service costs. Results show that discrepancies in research methods and definitions on nursing structures, support systems and patient classification exist and contribute to inability in determining their impact on service costs.

Exercise training and smoking cessation as the cornerstones of managing claudication
Article Abstract:
This article examines the roles of exercise and smoking cessation in the management of claudication, or muscle pain associated with peripheral arterial disease in the lower extremities. Both exercise and quitting smoking are key factors in claudication management but structured guidance is often required to help with patient compliance.
